Announcement from the U.S Consulate Fukuoka
TO: AMERICANS LIVING IN OITA PREFECTURE
We are very pleased to announce that the U.S Consulate Fukuoka will be making a consular service visit to Oita City on Friday, October 27. We will be performing notarial services, accepting applications for U.S. passports and U.S. reports of birth. We are very grateful that the Oita International Plaza has kindly agreed to permit us to use their facilities during our visit.

Given Oita’s distance from Fukuoka, the Consulate would like to make sure we have enough interested American customers to justify our visit. We therefore ask that all interested customers contact us to schedule an appointment for services by no later than Monday, October 23. You can schedule an appointment by contacting consular staff by e-mail: FukuokaACS@state.gov. If you wait and call us on the day of our visit, we may not be able to accommodate your request for an appointment.
