Announcement to foreign nationals who have experienced disruptions in their workplace (Immigration Bureau of Japan)

Technical interns and other foreign workers affected by COVID-19 can now continue working in Japan.

Until further notice, the ‘Special Activities (tokubetsu katsudo)’ type visa can be used for employment and holds a validity period of up to 1 year.
