The Oita International Plaza would like to announce Language Volunteer Skill Improvement courses. The Oita International Plaza is now introducing and opening registration for “Interpreting & Translating Volunteers,” “Japanese Language Volunteers,” and “Student Volunteers” who will use their language skills to help troubled foreigners. We have invited the staff of the Beppu Intenational Plaza (represented by Kyoko Inazumi), which helps guide foreign tourists around the city of Beppu, to hold this course aimed at volunteers. Chinese and Thai staff members will speak about cultural differences and struggles, and the course will teach things to pay attention to when guiding foreigners. Additionally, the course is free and those who wish to register (starting from now) can participate.
