I'd like to introduce to you “strange Japanese words”.
Today’s word is “Tentekomai (てんてこ舞い)” which means “very busy”.
“Tenteko” refers to “the drums of Japanese KAGURA” and “Mai” means “dance”.
In other words, people dancing to a fast rhythm are very similar to busy people who are moving very fast.
Therefore Japanese people use “Tentekomai (てんてこ舞い)” to mean “very busy”.
Please remember this!

OIP runs the gallery to help introduce the residents of Oita to the international exchange and cooperation activities in Oita.
When you come to iichiko culture center B1F, you can't miss the gallery!!

Displays are for up to one month (There is no fee required).

The Oita International Plaza is holding free TAGALOG consultations on every 1st Saturday and 3rd Tuesday 1pm-4pm.
Tagalog Consultant is Ms. Rhodora YOSHITAKE.
She is from Manila in Philippines and has lived in Japan for 26 years.
Also, she is the leader of the Oita-Philippines Friendship Association.
Why don't you come to the OIP?!

Chinese Consultant is Ms. Wenyu CUI.
She is from Dalian in China and has lived in Japan for 14 years.

Many people ask us "Where is the OIP?".
Therefore I'd like to answer this question.
The OIP is at iichiko culture center B1F.
"iichiko culture center" is also called "OASIS".
You can check the map of iichiko culture center through the Internet....
Today, I will show you how to get to the OIP when you arrive at iichiko culture center.
↓At first, enter the main entrance.
↓Pass the lobby.
↓Then go to B1F by the elevator or,,,
↓Escalator.
*There are other routes but I'll show you the easiest route.
↓You can see the "Space Be".
↓There is a counter when you enter the "Space Be".
↓Then turn left...finally, you will arrive at the OIP!!
↓This is our exchange space.
↓And this is our office.
